Dr. Katarzyna Doniec is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Demography and Population Health at the University of Oxford. Prior to this, she was a Max Weber Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy. She holds an MPhil in Social & Developmental Psychology and a PhD in Sociology, both from the University of Cambridge. 

Dr. Doniec’s research makes key contributions to understanding the interplay between population health and social determinants of health, leveraging sociological theories and demographic methods. Her primary focus is on the impact of gender roles and social values on health-related behaviours and population health outcomes.

Dr. Doniec’s research contributions have been published in leading academic journals, such as The Lancet and International Journal of Epidemiology. Additionally, her work has been covered by major media outlets including US News.
